Lightning Squad at Harrison Elementary

Bring the Light to Our Schools

God has given Whitewater an incredible opportunity to serve more than 100 students each week through Lightning Squad, an after-school program where kids are seen, known, encouraged, and introduced to the love of Jesus. We believe our schools are a front line for ministry, and this is one simple, joyful way we can show up for students, families, and school staff. You don’t have to be a teacher or an expert, you just need a willingness to show up, build relationships, and let the light of Jesus shine through you.

Here’s how it works: Lightning Squad happens three times a month, once at each of our partner elementary schools: Harrison, Miami Whitewater, and Crosby. You can join us at all three schools or choose one school and serve there consistently, building meaningful relationships with students and staff over time.

Come be part of helping kids discover the Light of Jesus and become that light wherever they go!

We will serve in the months on October, November, January, February, March and April. Days and time will vary.
